At least temporarily, the print service I have been using is 'broken'. Until further notice, please contact me for prints. I can get them to you in several sizes, framed and unframed. Just drop me an email (wendellshinn@mac.com) or call me at 415.734.0637.
In the true 'Troubadour Spirit', one of our favorite local performers whom I hope to be doing some work with soon. My Webmaster turned me on to him. She just posted this interview from a pub in San Rafael on youTube.
My art career began at 5 years with my first oil painting at my Mother's side. I went from oils to acrylics to fine line expression and by the time I was 15 I had developed a love for photography. I completed a course at the Art Institute of Westport, CT and was a commercial art major at Baylor University in Waco, TX before joining the Air Force in 1965. I was an Air Force Illustrator and ran the Photo Hobby Shop exploring experimental photography, winning 3 awards at the AF Worldwide Photo Competition. My greatest admiration was always the National Geographic and Life Magazine photographers and now NG hosts a gallery of mine.
