Winter months here on the edge of the Western World produce some of the richest sunsets and here's some shots from December 7, 2009. Kite Surfing emerges... Cheers and the best of the Season to All.
My art career began at 5 years with my first oil painting at my Mother's side. I went from oils to acrylics to fine line expression and by the time I was 15 I had developed a love for photography. I completed a course at the Art Institute of Westport, CT and was a commercial art major at Baylor University in Waco, TX before joining the Air Force in 1965. I was an Air Force Illustrator and ran the Photo Hobby Shop exploring experimental photography, winning 3 awards at the AF Worldwide Photo Competition. My greatest admiration was always the National Geographic and Life Magazine photographers and now NG hosts a gallery of mine.
